A panel of three researchers and an expert moderator will discuss topics including; how vaccines work, their efficacy, the rate of possible side effects, what concerns about vaccines are valid and supported by evidence and the history of vaccination in Cork. The panel will also discuss some of the historic reasons for vaccine refusal, and the personal and public health consequences.

This panel discussion is ‘Act One’ followed by a post-panel breakout into 3-4 smaller groups, each with one panellist and one moderator, where audience members can ask more questions or express concerns in a more intimate setting.
