About the Event

As time has passed the term has been applied to space tourists, astronaut candidates, and even people who have completed astronaut themed training camps. But where do we draw the line? Does it matter or are “astronaut purists” just being pedantic?

We’ll discuss this topic with the Space Experts, Dr Niall Smith and Frances McCarthy from MTU Blackrock Castle Observatory
