About the Event

Enthusiastic trained science explainers - staff and students at UCC - guide participants to individually extract DNA from bananas. Participants can also chat to the Cell EXPLORERS explainers to learn more about life as a scientist. To spark more science conversations at home, participants also get to bring home a small tube of their extracted banana DNA! Come along and get discovering!

Workshop Duration is 45 mins and suitable for children age 8-12 yrs.
